Well done chaps! Solid stuff indeed. Hopefully no injuries due to the glass splinters.
I don't know if anyone has told you, but the Light Car Allstars put the 30-98 XI in their place by beating them by several wickets!!! Who'd have thought. Timmy scored a lowly zero- run out by Marsh senior. There was even an appearance by WG Grace (although on much closer inspection, it turned out to be Amanda de Salis!). You were the talk of the rally and everyone was full of pride and envy. Truly inspitational.
A superb weekend and rally as always. We (and two others!) tried to emulate your exploits by trialing along a green lane - good fun, but definitely not enroute!
What was even more amazing was that the chucklebus made it down and back on its own steam and was an excellent course closing car. We warned your nephews and nieces about the perils of tents blowing away!!!
Thanks for all the updates - you really have had a fantastic adventure. Roll on Paris
