Set off early from Kazan to push on. Hopefully we can get ahead of ourselves enough to not only do repairs, but spend a couple of days seeing Moscow, and then St. Petersburg.
4pm: Thirty miles from Novgorod. Heavy traffic and pot holes roads, also glorious weather and a very hot engine. Scenery of forests, villages and herds of cows.
