Thursday 14th June - to Kazan

Morning: A few miles into the day we hit a ramp hard and became airborne. . On landing the windscreen mounting gave way completely, and the lower glass fractured. Now held together with tyre irons and cable ties, until we can weld it .

Hi Annabel. Just to let you know you have some fans in here in Oz who think you're fantastic (but short of a few sheep in the top paddock). So even if all you really want now is a whole day in a hot bath and some clean underwear just remember we all need our daily fix from the steppes. Best wishes to you all, and take care.
